Rugged Cumbria bowl

This rugged bowl was made entirely from materials I have collected. The underlying clay body is from Devon. It s covered with a slip made using clay and volcanic ash from Cumbria. The glaze is made from Cumbrian granite and local sedimentary rocks. It has been woodfired.
